10-13 YTD I've hit a rough patch over the past 2 weeks. Hell, who am I kidding, I've been in a rough patch for the last 27.5 years of my life. (I'm 27, by the way.)
Maryland (-8)Taking the Terps based on their record as a favorite since the Fridge arrived. Also, I think this line would have been a lot bigger had Clemson not beat up on Georgia Tech. Should have jumped on the 6.5 earlier in the week, but still feel comfortable here.
Florida (-12) Ole Miss has no D, and they have to be down after LW's loss to Texas Tech 49-45. (I heard Bob Knight was happy with his team's performance however.) Florida has to be up for this after last year's upset loss. True, they won a game last week that they shouldn't have, but I feel they were a little down after the Vol loss. Anybody who watched the game knows their heads were not in it in the 1st half. The opposing QB name is Manning and he's going into the Swamp which is always a good sign.
Arizona (+29) We all know Arizona sucks but Wazzu isn't near as good as last week showed. If you get 9 TO's, you better blow a team out. It's been proven that when a coaching change takes place, a team usually plays better the next game out. I don't care how much Mackovic apologized last year for his remarks. NO ONE changes overnight, if ever. There is no way these players forgot about last year, thus affecting their ability to play for him. You know the Cougs have to be patting themselves on the back after last week. I just can't believe Arizona is as bad as their performance thus far, and they have to have a little confidence after almost knocking off TCU last week.
Oregon St. (0) The Bears are an up and coming team and it's always good to see a team that's struggled in the past start to turn it around. BUT they are still inconsistent, and after last week's huge win over the hated USC Trojans, the letdown is just inevitable. The Beavers have a pretty solid defense, and I just don't see how the Bears will be able to be up for this game.
Louisiana Tech (+8) This is not the same Boise State team that we all have loved over the past 3 years. They are not as explosive, and now they come in at LA Tech in a conference game. I think this line has been inflated because of Boise State's past reputation. LA Tech will come home energized after 3 straight road games and I see them getting the cover if not an outright win.
